Lexington SC 29073 blesseddrifter@yahoo.com (251) 463-3816 VET Poor VA Hospital Treatment for sever pain 172.74.224.115 Something is severely wrong with my primary care logistics or perhaps somewhere else at the Dorn VA Medical Hospital. I have damage in my C spine chronicled by the VA in Oklahoma City by MRI. This causes severe pain in my neck area and arms along with muscle spasms in my upper back. I was being treated for pain management and prescribed medications and Physical Therapy at the Oklahoma City VA prior to moving to South Carolina. I have been told you do not treat pain management with medications. I have a neck brace with a tens unit to help with the pain. That is my physical therapy treatment. There is not a lot that can be done with spine problems as far as physical therapy goes. A new condition has begun and the Dorn VA is aware of this. I have very bad pain in my sciatic nerve area in my lower back which causes pain in my buttocks down into my feet. There are times my entire left leg goes into 100% paralysis and I have had a couple of bad falls. It is scary. The primary care doctor I saw set me up for pain management, but they wanted a boned density test as a prerequisite to pain management. Now Pain Management tells me my provide has to schedule an MRI on my lower spine. I have contacted Patient Advocacy Office to no avail. I cannot seem to get in touch with my primary Care provider as well. I am asking if you can inquire into this and find a quick way of helping me. Thank You in advance. My quality of life is not doing well. I moan and cry out in my sleep (if I get any) as my fiance worries and doesn't know what to do. Sincerely, Anthony C. Glisson 505-94-6721 USAF Retired
