Unfortunately since immigration is a federal issue, there is little we can do to be helpful at the state level. Once he submits a visa petition, I would encourage you to reach out to members of your federal delegation, either Senator Graham or Senator Scott, or Congressman Mulvaney. We can certainly put Mr. Purnell in touch with our South Carolina Department of Commerce that may can help him navigate how to start a new business here.
