MINUTES OF BAMBERG COUNTY COUNCIL
SPECIAL CALLED MEETING MAY 21, 2009

In compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, agendas for the following meeting were mailed to all members of Council, County Attorney Richard B. Ness, The Advertiser-Herald, The Times and Democrat, and a copy posted on the bulletin board in the main hallway of the County Courthouse.

Bamberg County Council met at 6:00 p.m. in the Bamberg County Council Building. Present were Acting Chairman Chris Wilson, William Nimmons, Isaiah Odom and Dorothy Tatum. Councilwoman Robinson, Chairman Guess and Councilman Carter were absent. Others Present: Rose N. Dobson-Elliott.

Bamberg County Council Meeting was called to order by Chairman Guess at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers. The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Councilwoman Tatum followed with invocation by Councilman Odum.

Council approved the agenda, Motion to approve made by Councilwoman Tatum and 2nd by Councilman Odum. All voted in favor.

Public Hearing was opened for the purpose of comments for the Proposed Ordinance "Granting Easement Agreement for Parking, Access, and Utilities by and Between Bamberg Healthcare Properties, Inc., a Georgia Corporation and Bamberg County, South Carolina, a body politic and corporate and a political Subdivision of the State of South Carolina.

On motion by Councilman Nimmons and 2nd by Councilwoman Tatum, Council voted all in favor to approve Third Reading for the Ordinance Granting Easement Agreement for Parking, Access and Utilities by and Between Bamberg Healthcare Properties, Inc. a Georgia Corporation and Bamberg County, South Carolina, a body politic and corporate and a political subdivision of the State of South Carolina.

Councilman Odum, made the motion to adjourn and was second by Councilman Nimmons, Council voted all in favor. Acting Chairman Wilson declared the meeting adjourned.
