After typing for an hour to the director of Charleston County DSS, guess what?  The email address is not correct.  Typical DSS ethics.  Pretend to the public that DSS really cares about the children and families of SC but in reality it is the most corrupt, dysfunctional organization in the state.  Now another child has died basically at the hands of DSS.  Two calls to DSS to report abuse of this child and NO ONE IN DSS did a damn thing about it.  So what happens now, I know the DSS employees that ignored the calls won't be held responsible in any way, just go on about their merry way.  They should be in prison right along the man that killed the baby.  Just like everything else with DSS, everything is swept under the table and no one is held accountable.  That's why the state of SC's DSS is useless.  No one is held accountable, just move people around and still you grab the children and babies and put them in harms way.  You don't actually believe that this system works.  My grandbabies were abused for a year by their foster parent, but not one word has ever been mentioned to our family about what ever happened to this person.  So she is probably right back fostering kids and getting the paycheck.  And who is checking on all this, NO ONE!  DSS thinks it is above reproach and above the law......JUST CLOSE THE DOORS and do the families of SC a favor.
