Currently, the limit for 2015 is only $25,000. We operate a manufacturing business in Charlotte, NC and last year we were incentivized to reinvest in our business by purchasing a new fiber optic laser to cut sheet metal. In 2015, we are interested in making another similar purchase, however due to the Section 179 limit being only $25,000, we are scrutinizing this decision more closely and may decide not to make this major purchase. We are urging that Congress act and increase the Section 179 limit to $500,000, as they have for the last several years. Thank you for your service to our country and thank you for your action on this important issue to give us an advantage over our foreign competition. Sincerely, Benjamin M.
