Pleasant SC 29466 Katyh58@yahoo.com EDUC SC State Campaign???? Dear Govenor Haley, I googled SC State Trustees this morning. One article that seemed current started out...." SC State is a mess. There is no doubt about it.".... That article was dated 2012. Three years later....a vote is taking place today by the leadership of SC State to launch a campaign? Is it good to announce a campaign that is..... Quickly being approved? In need of 6 key fundraising positions? A pipeline based on the " hope" of donors and "verbal agreements"? An Interim President? A Board that could be voted out? Where was this excitement and drive by the Board 3 plus years ago? Too little too late! SC State students deserve the right to an education....their leadership has failed to deliver. A bail out of $23 million is not the answer.Tough choices were made in the State budget recently that effected many across the entire state. It should not be so easy for SC State. I hope you and the leadership of this state make the right decision with respect to the fate of SC State going forward. Respectfully Submitted
