While we are sorry to see you departing the role you have done so well in, we congratulate you on your appointment as Ambassador to the U.N. Considering the special relationship South Carolina has with Israel, your own support of that very unique ally, and the recent U.N. condemnations of Israel, we hope and trust that you will be able to play a very strong role in geting the U.N. to reverse that decision. Thank you again for the integrity you have restored to the office of governor and your faitfhful service in that role.
