My mother is very ill and my father is keeping her at home as long as possible so the three kids take weekends to give him a break. The last five trips for me have been "hellish" due to the roads. The trips have never been easy with our roads, but now my three hour trip has turned into 4 or 5 due to detours from accidents or other issues. Not to mention the damage to my car and tires due to the poor road surfaces. I have complained many times but it falls on deaf ears. Today I called both you and my Respresentative, Mr. Goldfinch. The reponse from your office was the same, "we will forward" and the repsonse from republican Goldfinch was, "it is totally the Governor's fault, she will not pass any options we give her - this issue will not go anywhere anytime soon". ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Do something about the roads - when your own party can't get along it hurts us all. I didn't vote for either one of you so that makes it even more frustrating. Would love to pay $2.50 for a gallon of gas if I knew the roads were being fixed - and how about train access from the coast to Columbia - now there is an idea that should have been implemented oh some 60 years ago!!! DO SOMETHING AND QUIT FIGHTING. ACTION!!!
