Thank you for supporting our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. I have only one concern. Having served in the military for 20 years, I know just how little firearms training we received. I strongly believe that everyone should prove to their instructor that they can safely and effectively control a weapon before they are given the right to carry a concealed weapon as part of the Concealed Weapons Permit law. I personally had not shot a pistol in over 24 years. I worked very hard to get proficient for my CWP class and I shoot at least once a week, along with my RSO duties at my gun club. They (the retired guys/gals) might whimper a bit but the results will be good for South Carolina. God Bless...Pep
