It was brought to my attention that my son had a recent episode that he had to be taken to Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia S.C. Prior to York County detaining my son he had been recently in Cleveland Regional Medical Center due to his Asthma that caused him to be on Life Support after being seen 3 times in which his heart had stopped. The Ventilator had damaged Daniels airway and made talking and eating difficult. Upon this information I had called Kirkland Prison to speak to the Medical Supervisor that would only tell me the Hospital that my son was taken to. I called Richland Memorial and they wouldn't give me any I formation on my sons current state of health. I tried to have Daniels current information and Diagnosis sent from Cleveland Regional Medical Center to Richland Memorial and I was told that the current hospital he is at would have to request his information which has not been done. Daniel was diagnosed with COPD due to Chronic Bronchitis on top of his diagnosis of Asthma at the age of 2 yrs old. I was made aware that the staff at the Prison said "he was lying". My sons condition is very serious and that he is not being given his preventative medications. If you could help me in any way I will be so very grateful and my son will be as well. Thank you for your time, Tracie B. Isaman
