(COLUMBIA)–Les Tindal, Commissioner of Agriculture and Heyward King, Jr., Chairman of W. Lee Flowers and Co., invite producers, processors, and members of the community to see and hear about a cooperative product awareness campaign that is underway through the state’s “SC Quality” program.

Under the IGA banner, W. Lee Flowers & Co., in Lake City, markets and distributes food and food products to approximately fifty company-owned and independent IGA supermarkets in the state.  IGA has joined forces with the South Carolina Department of Agriculture to show customers a new way to shop for South Carolina products.  The product awareness program will be revealed at the IGA Plus store on Kelley St. in Lake City at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2000.
