potholes ,  potholes, potholes,          sick of them           a good plan could have been put in place a year ago.     part of the money collected would have been paid by tourists.     who would complain about that .     but it's lost now.   that money is gone, gone forever.     if you had just made roads the priority.      everybody knew they were terrible.     costing us all money.    not just money , but prestige.          if you had just thrown your weight behind repairing the roads,  and not mixing the reform of the transportation  department. and having a revenue neutral plan.   your revenue neutral plan is ridiculous.   it just killed raising the gas tax which most people knew  necessary.           south carolina has so many other needs for that money---teachers, education, pensions, etc etc etc.      everything goes up.   my cable bill goes up ,   my insurance goes up,  my phone bill goes up.  everything goes up!!  so does government , unless you want to have things happen like children dying, or dams not being inspected.    RAISE THE GAS TAX OR WE ARE ALL GOING TO BE RIDING MULES.   we don't live in the eighteenth century anymore.   potholes potholes potholes traffic intersections and roads bursting with traffic      yes , i blame you as much as that sorry group in the legislature that won't raise the gas tax.       reform could have been left for  later .   my car won't
