Dear Nikki Haley, 
Are there any government entities that you know of that will assist a homeowner in raising their foundation of moving it to a higher ground on the same lot. When we purchased the house it was dry as a bone underneath. This recent flood brought 10 inches of water in our crawl space. 
We have made a claim on flood insurance but what if it happens again ?
A contractor I met from Louisianna said their state had funded such projects .
