Box 103 Defiance MO 63341 joeb@orosandbusch.com ETHI Your stance on the Confederate Flag I realize I'm not a citizen of your State, but since this is not simply a SC issue, I would like to express my own opinions on the matter. I am curious if you will also be calling for the removal of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson from our currency and other national monuments. Since they both were slave owners and supported the issue of slavery, it would be consistent for you to publicly call for their removal from our historical records. Unless of course you are simply pandering to those who somehow believe the Confederate Flag is a racist symbol any more than anything else from our history during those times. As a public official and leader within this country, I had hoped that you were smart enough to not lead with knee jerk reaction policy. It appears that I was wrong. You seem to have plenty of company with those type of policies though. I'll be looking forward to hearing of your announcement regarding Washington and Jefferson soon.
