I would like to file a complaint/Appeal against the Appeals Division. I was not afforded a fair hearing; I was hung up on several times and finally never got a call back from the hearing officer. This is NOT right. I feel there is a huge bias against the working employee, and it is not right that that office consistently sides with the employer and completely ignores the Employable, Working Mid Class American women? I feel completely discriminated against in this matter and in past. Is there a problem with the South Carolina's Budget Office wherein they cannot afford to pay Unemployment to woman, and advise to the Unemployment Office to deny claims to woman, or everyone? Is our Senator, Lindsey Graham, know how the working class woman are consistently being denied unemployment? What about the Commission on Woman, maybe they should be notified as well.

I was not looking for a hand out, I was simply looking for unemployment monies to help me get through being discharged (WITHOUT CAUSE) I can assure you, until I found another job, which I did some six (6) weeks later. Even then after appealing to the Tribunal Court, they stated ONLY the same thing that the Hearing Officer stated, after hanging up on me several times, in their decision. I sent in a four (4) page explanation of what really happened and what my role was in same, and it was NEVER even looked at, let alone considered. This should be misconduct on a criminal level. I am tired of the government not helping out the middle class Americans when they need help. The unemployment officers are bias and discriminate on a weekly basis in case anyone is willing to look. I most certainly did, and I will continue to do so in an effort to stop the government misuse of power to effect and promote their discrimination and bias, especially against middle class working woman in South Carolina!

Please let me know who is willing to listen to my complaints, and that of many others who have legitimate claims, and have returned to work, yet the Unemployment Office REFUSES to listen to any Employees no matter what their claim may be! Is there a reason for the bias or prejudice? I am wondering if the Newspapers or stations would be willing to listen.
