would like to request a Happy Birthday letter from Gov. Haley for a 100th
birthday. Rebie Reeves, 315 Player Street, Newberry, SC 29108, will be
100 years old on August 23, 2015. She is a remarkable lady who reads
two-to-three books a week, works the daily puzzles in the newspaper, goes
to the local Senior Center each day to exercise, and never misses a Sunday
church worship service as well as other events at Summer Memorial Lutheran
Church, Newberry. She still lives independently in her home; attended
Newberry College in 1936 and retired from work in the Mollohon textile
mill. As part of the birthday celebration for Miss Rebie, our church is
preparing a book of remembrance. If the letter could be sent to me to be
included in the book, that would be great. If this is not possible and you
prefer to mail to her above address, that's okay. Thank you in advance
for your kind consideration to this request.
