Good afternoon

Kroger Manufacturing employs over 350 South Carolina residents, between two facilities in the state.

I would like to extend an invitation for Governor Haley, or someone representing her administration, to attend an NAW event at the Kroger Bakery in Anderson, S.C. on November 15th, 2016 to begin at 9a.m.

This event will celebrate the journey Kroger Manufacturing has taken over the past two years in developing our Apprenticeship program and partnership with the DOL. We will have leaders and apprentices (a total of 7 former and current) from the bakery, as well as our spice plant (Pontiac Foods) near Columbia. We will offer tours, and have a panel discussion with our apprentices. We would love to hear from Governor Haley (or her representative) how the state values and supports these types of programs. The event should conclude by 1p.m.
