He works more than fourty hours a week. This job provides no healthcare benefits and he's been unsuccessful at finding a job with healthcare. My brother makes too much money to be eligible for the ACA. If he made 13k or lower we could help him pay 42.00 dollars a month with no co pay and a low deductable plan. But he makes only about 20k a year and the only plan he is eligible for is a high deductable plan (he would have to pay into at 6k). He would be paying into this plan and getting nothing. Why does SC not participate in Medicare expansion?? It's so completely unfair. With all the merges of hospitals in SC how does any one get a fair price on healthcare services? There is no competition in prices. What are you doing for the people who can't afford healthcare? Where are they to go? What about my brother?
