Star Fort Pond at Ninety Six National Historic Site in Greenwood County will open Saturday, April 1 and remain open through Nov. 1.
The 27-acre Star Fort Pond near the town of Ninety Six offers fishing for bream, largemouth bass, channel catfish and crappie on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from a half-hour before sunrise to a half-hour after sunset. The reservoir will be open for fishing April 1 through Nov. 1.
