Dear Gov. Haley,
I have been a client of the sistercare housing program for the past four years.  I have had, now 2 attorneys to assist me in emancipating myself from the abusive marriage (that produced 3 children)
I have been in the system for four years total, wherein the initial case was dismissed due to lack of attention attorney paid.  Second attorney was able to obtain order that prohibited my estranged husband from any contact with our children pending a psychological evaluation and GAL investigation. We had a trial date after nearly 2 years of waiting and mediation  - the case was dismissed on a technicality due to the GAL Mrs. Jackie Draper, not turning in her report on time.  The judge went with the statute that stated she needed consent from both parties in order to admit Jackie's report.  When estranged husband denied consent, Judge Neese offered to hear an emergency refiling of case.
My attorney did not get paperwork in to her on time, the case was dismissed and now myself and my children are in danger and at risk.
My estranged husband then attempted to kidnap my children from the school but I was able to intercept due to notification from the school, that he was on his way due to the previous order, they called me.
I am at a loss as to what to do.  My children have been put through two investigative meetings with two different GAL's as well have had 1 year of counseling. My children are stable now, their grades are good, if he gets the children, everything starts to fall, and he is a flight risk.

I have the original orders and GAL report in which the GAL states it would not be good for him to resume physical contact right away.  As well, we still had a psychological investigation to complete.

Governor Haley, I have nowhere else to turn.  The system has failed me and my children.  My estranged husband believes he is a prophet, I have witnesses to his bizarre behavior, he is violent and unpredictable, abusive physically, psychologically, religiously, verbally to myself and my oldest two children.  I have gone in circles with attorneys and the courts and am now back to square one.

Please help me.
