I have put my business on hold the last 6 months waiting to find out if this bill will be signed into law. I am not sure how this bill helps the people of South Carolina but I have had fun campaigning against the people who voted for it. The sad thing is I voted for everyone of them that I could in previous elections. But I can not help people who are going to close my business. This bill will put more tires in landfills on the sides of the road and burned in people's back yards, all of which are horrible for the environment. This bill will also cost the state of South Carolina an unspecified amount of money in collection and disposal of tires that still have life in them that will now be discarded and thrown away. The last point I would like to make is with the high unemployment rates in South Carolina and the low wages that people are expected to live on that many of your constituents can not afford to buy new tires or they will have to choose between driving there car to work, eating, or paying basic bills. I do hope to hear from someone so I know if I need to finally close my tire shop or order more inventory. Tony Piner
