They do not follow their own policies of safety and security for their locations. Dear Ms. Strickland, Thank you for your email, I am afraid to say this, "but I don't think that any one from Corporate Headquarters is going to respond." Why do I say this? Because on the following date I emailed Mr. Brian Risinger, Sonoco Corporate in South Carolina, and this was the correspondence between the two of us. In no way do they want to admit their mistake in not complying with their own guidelines/ or policies of "safety" and "security measures" as stated in their manual. This is not mine policy but their own. I have been banned because when I made a formal complaint with their adminstrative managers here in Richmond, VA they did not want to be bothered with handling a serious complaint of this nature. Anyone can see when viewing the photo that the man wearing the red skins cap is throwing huge pieces of cardboard in front of my tan truck not allowing me to have free access, but blocking me in. If I had to rate this corporation, I would give them an "F+" for basically non-compliance of their own policies and failing to professionally take measures that would alleviate this unfortunate incident from ever happening again. I cannot pass judgement on any one for each individual is responsible and accountable to God for his/or her own actions. Infact I have thanked you each time for your return correspondence since the others lacked the professional courtesy of a response. As I have written repeatedly that it is SONOCO that has a company policy and manual where they spell out "safety" and "security" measures on their premises. This is not my take nor my policies/or directives. Previously before becoming an ordained priest,I worked for 20 years at George Washington University as a manager as we had a manual spelling out guidelines and directives for staff, faculty and students which was enforced and implemented. Whenever there was an infraction of any sort it was thoroughly investigated and the party that was responsible was held accountable, not the party that reported the incident. In this case, I {the victim} was permanently banned from SONOCO for reporting an incident that could have been fatal and dangerous with injury and harm to myself making SONOCO liable for a multi-million law suit. Regardless, what congestion or what you and others observed from the company videos a incident occurred on your property and your managers have the responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment for all who enter it. This man {in my photo} who was wearing the Red Skins Cap had no regard for what he was doing, even when approached politely by myself he continued to throw and block my vehicle from safe passage. Ask yourself how would you feel if you and the others were in this same situation? I would dare to say, that you would not in the least tolerate this kind of unruly and harmful act.....you have never once mentioned your own take, but only finding reasons to avoid being responsible and accountable for what did happen on SONOCO Property. I can only ASSUME from your correspondence that you agreed with the others that I too should be banned as well as the perpetrator. Why do I make this comment is because there have been no replies back as to the sound reasoning for my being banned. You stated in your email correspondence that this individual causing the problem was permanently banned, and my understanding is just the opposite. For reporting this infraction, I was banned for taking the matter to Mr. Anderson {Plant Manager} and others including his assistant Ms. LaSheryl {whoever this individual is}. I was given specific instruction by the weighing station guy named Daniel to communicate that I too was banned because I reported the matter by entering into their business area to let them know what was happening without permission to do so. You have never once explained the justification for my being banned" Why is that? I can only assume since the others were silent that you were appointed representative but never justified my being banned? In response to the following remark made by yourself "I also take some offense at you now making dispersions about my personal religious beliefs. I have been responsive and tried to explain our position to you and now you are acting toward me the way you say this individual acted toward you, which is unfortunate." As I have said over and over again, even quoting a passage from Luke 6:31 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you." was posed not only to yourself but to all those who had any involvement. Those involved will have to examine their conscience as to whether would they responded appropriately and in a justice maner? If you feel that you have justly approached and rectified the seriousness of this matter than you have nothing to worry about, but if for some reasons ethically and morally you feel that you are the victim than I pose a question directly to you-why do you feel that you are the victim?
