Dear Madam Governor,  I have watched your reactions for the past couple of days to the terrible events in Charleston.  Although you seemed to be initiall moved by the events, your recent reactions are troubling.  They seem very politically motivated and intended to protect your reputation and the reputation of S. Carolina.  It is all about one awful person and no more and no less; and you are very eager to kill the disturbed and deluded young man.  This is clearly not the inclinations of the victims' family members.  Please quit using them as an excuse to kill someone else.  Governor, you don't "get it"!  Never have and probably never will.  Isn't it ironic that this young man had on his car a license plate celebrating the Confederate States of America, and you have the same flag flying on your capitol grounds.  It is a part of your culture, Governor!  A flag of racism, tyranny, hatred and violence.  And you don't "get it"!  And you are upset that the President is discussing gun violence.  Really, Governor!?  It is simply all about this one disturbed and deluded one young man who you are eager to kill, no more and no less.  Pitiful, Governor.  Think!  For God's sake think!
And yes, I am a 74 year old white guy.
